While I endeavor to treat your concerns properly, it is important to remember that medications used in mental/behavioral health are not the same as in many other medical conditions. Each person will respond to a medication differently and the doses must be tapered up and down to truly assess efficacy. Many times it may take more than one medication to treat a condition.
I avoid the use of controlled substances whenever possible. Additionally, each state has different DEA requirements and application processes.
I endeavor to provide return calls within 24-48 hours. You can also use the patient portal, once established with my practice, to communicate.
Currently, I am only accepting adult and limited adolescent, clients. I will discuss your needs when we speak, prior to booking.
At this time I am seeing cash clients. Insurance credentialing is often a lengthy process. Additionally, many prefer to work on a cash-pay basis rather than using their insurance.
I can accept clients in Florida, Montana, and Colorado. New York and Connecticut are pending final steps.
Many medications can have major side effects. While I will try to cover side effects at the time of prescribing, I always recommend verifying with your pharmacist. If you note any untoward effects, from medication, please contact me. If you encounter a severe reaction, call 911.
If I identify that you are considering harming yourself or another, I will send emergency assistance to you. By engaging with my services, you agree/consent to these stipulations.
Your records will be stored on a secure website. Additionally, the patient portal and email are HIPAA compliant.
